Ha! I share that guilty pleasure. I found here quite appealing back then, and even enjoyed the music despite not being in a genre I tend to like.

I used to like her songs but that faded and were replaced with newer artists.
I met her once (she wanted to meet all the safety crew) and she’s very pleasant. She just got on with her set and went to the pub nearby for a couple of drinks afterwards.
I recall she didn’t like being called Sophie at the time and preferred Sophie Ellis for some reason but hey stars and their quirks.
